Beautiful warm morning in Fresno. I am having coffee outside waiting for my 9 am conference call. Toby is chasing squirrels. Little bastards will get what’s coming someday.

I had a terrible day yesterday, one of those days that makes me hate being a lawyer and want to get out completely. On the upside, I had a nice zoom conference with the business consultants I hired to help me get my arms around my business. I have been beating myself up a little bit for feeling like things are out of control.  He pointed out that 2019 reflected 82% revenue growth over 2018.  That is a lot of growth, and he said it is no surprise that, as a sole owner with no partners, I feel overwhelmed.  But things went sideways in a couple of cases, and a really sharp strategy that looked like it was about to result in a miraculous outcome seems to be falling apart.  So that kind of sucked.  But today is a new day, and I am luckier than most.  The long term goal of selling out and retiring early is alive and well notwithstanding COVID-19, so I can't complain.

Good Morning!  Sorry for the shitty day, but these days it could definitely be worse.  Congrats on the badass 2019 too - that’s awesome growth.

Jimmy McGill had a similar problem. Changed name. Joined cartel. Never looked back. In Fresno, you might have more exposure to those types of people if interested.

If you go that route, I want a cut.... 10% of profits?

We need a 4 seat  convertible for my wife’s evening sanity drives so we can bring the boy along. Test drove a 1998 Saab 900 at a local used car lot. We liked it a lot.
